Bill Fishbein has been a leading light in helping Good for Life Charity develop programmes of support for the projects we help fund in Guatemala and Honduras.
After leading the Coffee Kids Charity in USA for 20 years Bill Fishbein left the organisation to allow for a new generation of leadership. He later became intrigued by the ancient Ixil culture in Guatemala that had somehow managed to survive despite generations of deep poverty and the country’s brutal 36 year civil war. In 2009 he started "The Coffee Trust" to create a comprehensive development programme for one of the poorest coffee producing regions in the world. The programmes focus on education, healthcare, food security and economic development. The programme is thriving today and is now being replicated in Honduras.
