After oil, coffee is the second most widely traded commodity in the world - and just about everywhere coffee is grown is a third world country - yet the plight of these very poor communities rarely makes the headlines. It is our challenge and objectives to help these communities out of poverty, improve their lives and work towards a sustainable future.
With limited resources we have focused on coffee growing communities for the major part of our supporting programmes. However this is not entirely exclusive. Given the resources and where we believe we can make a difference, we give a hand up by working with the local communities. For example to help build a childrens school in Cameroon (Africa) or alternatively fund a palliative HIV/AIDS and cancer care unit with the cost of an ambulance and driver in Malawi - see completed/current projects.
